Hey I'm Nikki!

I am a master’s-level intern and graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Adams State University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colorado State University. I’m passionate about helping others and enjoy working with individuals ages 8 and up. I have experience supporting both children and adults in therapeutic settings. My counseling approach is rooted in the attachment theory, as I believe early relationships have a powerful impact on emotional well-being. I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s individual needs and support their growth. When appropriate, I enjoy incorporating art-based interventions into the therapeutic process. My goal is to create a compassionate, client-centered environment that fosters healing, self-awareness, and lasting change.
